Project Management Training Concept for Improved Project Results

For a renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer, we developed a practical training concept for project management. The goal was to improve project results in terms of transparency and implementation speed, as well as equip employees with effective tools and methods.

Background

The client was faced with an increasing number of optimization and change projects that had to be implemented in a shorter time alongside daily business. Lack of project experience and methodological knowledge often led to delays.

Specific Task

Our task was to design and implement practical project management tools and methods. This included elements such as project charters, time and resource planning, metrics, and status reporting. We conducted practical training to impart consultant skills in project execution. Together with the training participants, we compiled a project management toolbox for daily use.

KBC Solution Approach

We designed, implemented, and conducted practical project management training. A specially developed toolbox was created and put into use in the projects. We trained employees and enabled them to apply project management standards. Our approach placed particular emphasis on the practical applicability of the methods taught in everyday project work.
