An Analysis of the Impact of Quality Methods and Tools on Quality-Related Costs: An Industry Comparison of German Companies
In mid-June, Dr. Martin Boehme and Dr. Michael Donauer attended the 59th EOQ Congress 2015 in Athens. Among the more than 250 participants were top executives from various companies, consultants, and association members, who discussed ideas and topics related to quality and quality management.
The result was the publication of a paper on the study of quality costs in industrial companies and the establishment of new contacts. Following the presentation of the study, participants engaged in in-depth discussions about the challenges and areas requiring action. There was unanimous agreement on the goal of implementing methods to reduce quality-related costs.
