About Daniel Zeranski

Daniel Zeranski has been with KBC since 2017 and currently serves as Director of the Service Line Strategy. He has helped build the division from his early days as a consultant through to his current leadership role, and is responsible for its financial performance and the ongoing development of its service portfolio.

He is responsible for strategy and transformation initiatives in the area of operations, ranging from procurement through production and the supply chain to after-sales. He advises executive boards, management teams, and division heads in the automotive, building materials, energy, medical technology, and plant engineering sectors—including on the definition and implementation of operating models, functional, digitalization, and growth strategies, as well as capital project management (CAPEX).

Artificial intelligence is a key driver in this effort. He develops AI strategies and use-case roadmaps, evaluates use cases based on their value contribution and feasibility, and integrates them into processes, the organization, and governance. His goal is to ensure that AI is not treated as a pilot project, but rather as a scalable component of the operating model.

A hallmark of his work is the combination of technical expertise and a business perspective: He oversees strategy initiatives all the way through to implementation and measures their success based on demonstrable effects on costs, lead time, and the depth of value creation.

This is based on his studies in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
