About Jakob le Claire

After completing his mechanical engineering degree at RWTH Aachen University, TU Dresden, and Imperial College London, Jakob le Claire joined KBC as a consultant in 2010.
He has been a senior partner and co-owner since early 2024 and, in this role, is responsible for Business Operations.
From the very beginning, his work focused on product development, an area of expertise that the Hamburg native was among the first to systematically build up at KBC. Over the years, he led numerous projects aimed at optimizing development processes, organizational structures, and cost structures—always with a focus on the challenges posed by complex industrial products and their digital transformation.
His particular strength lies in the early stages and goal-oriented management of complex development projects. His core competencies include establishing data-driven processes and the strategic use of artificial intelligence (AI) in product development. In doing so, he implements customized solutions for core value creation in the mechanical and plant engineering, commercial vehicle, and automotive industries, and successfully supports organizations in digitizing their structures.
