KBC has once again been named one of “Bavaria’s Best Employers 2023”
Munich, April 26, 2023. We have once again been recognized as one of the best employers in the state-wide “Bavaria’s Best Employers 2023” competition by Great Place to Work®. Patricia Morgenstern, Marketing & Employer Branding Manager at KBC, accepted the award today at the awards ceremony in Munich.
Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of Great Place to Work®, emphasized that the award recognizes a workplace culture characterized by a high degree of trust, pride, and team spirit. He noted that an attractive corporate culture that fosters engagement is, among other things, a key factor in tackling important challenges of the future. The Great Place to Work® jury made special mention of the fact that great importance is placed on fair compensation and consideration of individual needs, e.g., with regard to religion, dietary preferences, or physical disabilities.
“We are delighted that our employees have once again rated us so highly,” says Constanze Schöffmann, Director of Human Resources at KBC. “In addition, the certification provides us with valuable insights to help us continuously improve as an employer. We were also recognized in the “Best Employers in Consulting 2023” and “Best Employers in Small and Medium-Sized Businesses 2023” competitions.
Information about the competition
Bavarian companies of all sizes and from all industries participated in the current state-level competition “Bavaria’s Best Employers.” The partners of this Bavarian state initiative—launched in 2014—and the competition are bayme vbm – The Bavarian Metal and Electrical Employers’ Association and the Demographic Network (ddn). The competition is part of the nationwide “Germany’s Best Employers” initiative, which has been held annually since 2002.
About the Award
The award was presented to companies that offer their employees a particularly positive and attractive corporate culture and a motivating work environment. The award also recognizes exceptional commitment to fostering a trusting and supportive culture of collaboration within the company.
It is based on an anonymous and representative survey of employees. Topics include trust in managers, team spirit, fairness, appreciation, respect, and identification with the company. In addition, management
As part of a cultural audit, we asked which measures and programs had been implemented to foster an attractive workplace culture. However, the employees’ assessment carries a weighting of 3:1 and is therefore the primary focus.
