Practical example
Program Management to Reduce the Total Cost of Quality
We designed and implemented a comprehensive program for a leading automotive manufacturer aimed at reducing the total cost of quality across all value-added areas. Our goal was to improve product reliability and reduce quality costs across all areas of the company.

Background
The customer was facing poor product reliability and rising quality costs across all areas of the value chain. There was a lack of clear measures and levers for cost reduction, as well as a structured planning and management framework for an effective quality program.
Specific task
Our assignment involved the design, implementation, and operation of a program management system aimed at reducing the total cost of quality. This encompassed all program processes within a comprehensive management framework, including the planning and prioritization of quality measures through to the decision to implement them.
KBC's Approach
We initiated and managed a program tailored to specific needs, comprising a series of sub-programs. In doing so, we prepared the value-adding departments (Development, Purchasing, Production, Sales, and After-Sales) for the process and supported them through to the final agreement. We established a system for tracking and reporting on implementation to ensure the sustainable implementation of quality measures.
