Agile Transformation for the Digital Vehicle
To meet future customer expectations for the “digital car,” a fundamental transformation of the organization and its processes toward more agile product development is essential. To meet this challenge, a workshop-based approach was designed to encourage active team participation and strengthen team spirit. This innovative approach aims to make product development more flexible and responsive in order to meet rapidly changing market demands.

Background
The increasing digitalization of the automotive sector is presenting companies with new challenges. Traditional development processes are reaching their limits in the face of the complexity and rapid pace of innovation in the “digital car” sector. To remain competitive, a realignment of organizational structures and workflows is essential. This requires not only technical adjustments, but above all a cultural shift toward greater agility and customer focus.
Specific task
The task was to develop a holistic transformation approach that would enable the organization to respond more agilely to market demands. Key aspects included redesigning development processes, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and implementing agile methods. Additionally, the goal was to develop a concept that actively involves employees in the change process and makes optimal use of their expertise. Strengthening team spirit and fostering an open communication culture were also important objectives.
KBC's Approach
Through a series of interactive workshops, new working methods and structures were developed in collaboration with employees. Various agile methods were employed, tailored to the specific needs of product development. Particular emphasis was placed on fostering self-organization and establishing short feedback loops. In addition, measures to improve cross-functional collaboration were implemented, and digital tools were introduced to support agile processes.
