After a six-month shutdown, the plant had to be completed despite existing travel restrictions. This extraordinary situation required innovative commissioning solutions involving engineers, suppliers and third-party providers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h3\">Specific Task<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our task included setting up a holistic commissioning concept, coordinating and implementing supplier integration and supporting the adaptation of framework agreements, work instructions and processes. The aim was to finalize the commissioning of the plant on time and on budget despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h3\">KBC Solution Approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We developed a comprehensive remote commissioning concept based on our CROME framework (Concept, Readiness Check, Open Points, Mobilization, Execution). This included the virtual integration of over 15 suppliers, from the initial approach to the operational commissioning. We adapted framework contracts, work instructions and processes to the new circumstances in close coordination with technology experts and suppliers.
