KBC ranked third in the competition “Bavaria\u00b4s best Employers 2018”<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

KBC is one of the winners of this year\u2019s Great Place to Work competition \u201cBavaria\u2019s Best Employers\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe award stands for credible management that works fairly and respectfully with its employees, for a high level of employee identification and for a strong team spirit within the company,\u201d said Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of Great Place to Work\u00ae Germany on the occasion of the award ceremony in Munich on 25 April 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KBC Managing Director Stefan Kem\u00e9ny and KBC Human Resources Manager Constanze Sch\u00f6ffmann were delighted to receive the Great Place to Work\u00ae Seal of Quality on behalf of all employees during the awards ceremony on 25 April at the \u201cHaus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft\u201d in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basic information regarding the competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award was preceded by a detailed anonymous survey of KBC employees on central workplace issues such as trust in management, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, remuneration, health promotion and work-life balance. In addition,
the management was questioned about beneficial measures and offers for personnel work in the company. The results of the two internationally proven research instruments (the Great Place to Work\u00ae Employee Survey + Culture Audit) were weighted in a ratio of 2:1; the direct evaluation of the employees is therefore in the foreground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 171 Bavarian companies of all sectors and sizes took part in Bavaria\u2019s current Great Place to Work\u00ae state competition \u201cBest Workplaces 2018\u201d. They underwent a voluntary and independent review of their workplace culture by the independent Great Place to Work\u00ae Institute and the assessment of their own employees. The list of the best employers was determined from the total number of participants (benchmarking differentiated by company size). All participants benefited from the differentiated assessment of their position and the impetus for their further development as good and attractive employers, irrespective of their ranking on the \u201cbest of\u201d list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partners of the Bavarian Great Place to Work initiative launched in 2014 and the \u201cBavaria\u2019s Best Employers\u201d competition are the VBW (Association of Bavarian Business), the DDN e.V. (The Demography Network) and the ZEIT-Verlag, all under the patronage of the nationwide competition of \u201cGermany\u2019s Best Employers\u201d, which has been held annually since 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
